Join the Mossy Mountain Photography Team! – Part-Time Photography Assistant Wanted

Hey there! Mossy Mountain Photography is looking for a friendly, outdoorsy, and detail-loving Part-Time Photography Assistant to join me on photo adventures in some of the most beautiful places the PNW has to offer!

This is a super fun and hands-on opportunity for someone who’s either starting out in photography or just loves being part of creative experiences. You’ll be tagging along on adventure sessions, elopements, and the occasional wedding, helping me with everything from equipment to keeping things running smoothly and on time. This is not a set schedule and I could need your assistance anywhere from 1-4 times per month.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Joining me on shoots (mostly in and around national parks — yes, it’s as amazing as it sounds!)
• Assisting with photography gear — changing lenses, memory cards, batteries, etc.
• Helping with equipment prep, flash and reflector setup
• Fixing flyaways and adjusting client outfits for the perfect shot
• Keeping us on schedule and being a second set of eyes during sessions
• Encouraging good vibes and making clients feel comfortable and cared for
• Carpooling to locations — we travel together!

• You’re reliable, love being outside, and are happy carrying a bit of gear
• You’re detail-oriented and great with people
• You have basic knowledge of camera equipment (but don’t worry — I’ll show you the ropes!)

Pay:

$20/hour — includes travel time to and from shoots!
